Hello Fellow Future Student Doctors,
Welcome to the world of The Prancing Premed! Here we celebrate learning, being on the premed path and whatever hobbies that make you happy (mine is, obviously, being a prancer dancer).
Over my many years of being on the premed track, I have collected tidbits of advice and information that have helped me immensely along the way. I figured it’s time to pay it forward. I truly hope that The Prancing Premed can shed some light on this incredibly long, arduous path in a way that isn’t too weighty. This journey is daunting enough; I hope to use this blog as a way to bring some levity to it while still communicating useful information.
These posts include my opinions that are based, first-hand, on advice given to me by my college pre-med committee and from medical schools I have e-mailed inquiries to. However, I am not a professional advisor. Because each person’s situation is different, this blog should not replace going to your premed advisor for individual advice. The information I express on this site are general guidelines.
I’m excited that you’re here and I invite you to join me on my quest to medical school!
